Product Description

Draupadi is the most prominent female character in the Mahabharata. Her given name at birth is Krishnaa, but since she is the daughter of Drupada she is called Draupadi. She is also known as Panchali – or the ‘daughter of Panchala’.

Draupadi is often considered the primary reason for the destruction of the Kuru dynasty. Indeed, she takes birth as a grown young woman in a sacrifice performed by Drupada, in which the king asks for a ‘weapon’ with which the Kurus can be defeated.

Draupadi is won at her swayamvara by Arjuna, the third of the Pandavas. On the advice of Vyasa, however, she becomes wife to all five brothers.

This guide will cover everything you need to know about Draupadi.

Glad I bought these

Great value for money. 58 proper-sized books at this price is a steal. Add to it that you have so much flexibility: you can read on any app or any device you want, and you can even convert these files into different file formats. Even the bonuses are so well put together. I'd not heard of Sharath Komarraju before, so I was hesitant about placing this order, but I am glad I did. You will be too! Beautiful Variety!

Excellent reads! I'm a long-time crime fiction reader, and I am impressed by the variety on offer in these four books. Even the two Birbal books are dissimilar enough from each other to keep the reader's interest. Murder in Amaravati is a slow-burn, Banquet on the Dead is urban and fast-paced, Crows of Agra is a historical, and Tree Bears Witness is an impossible murder. Something for everyone. What sets these guides apart is Sharath's contemplative approach to character analysis—he doesn't just explain relationships but illuminates motivations with remarkable precision. I particularly appreciate how he clearly distinguishes facts from personal interpretation, allowing readers to form their own conclusions. Very satisfied! Superb Ending!

Okay, I must admit - the ending elevated this book for me. I was going to give it a three or four star, but the final chapter made it a five. Definitely checking out more of Sharath Komarraju's books. Okay, I must admit - the ending elevated this book for me. The 52 books spanning over 6000 pages might seem intimidating, but Sharath's conversational writing style makes you feel good. The Mahabharata Character Guides Omnibus became my favorite section as it helped me understand the complex motivations behind each character's actions. Highly recommended! Worth Reading

Definitely worth reading. I generally don't like crime fiction all that much, but this one kept me reading through the day. Something about the Malgudi-like atmosphere that is present in Amaravati. I like Krishna Shastri, but identify more with Venkat Reddy. Lovely little story. Definitely worth reading. Even the bonuses are so well put together. I'd not heard of Sharath Komarraju before, so...

Deep yet Accessible

Inspirational

The 52 books spanning over 6000 pages might seem intimidating, but Sharath's conversational writing style makes you feel good. The Mahabharata Character Guides Omnibus became my favorite section as it helped me understand the complex motivations behind each character's actions. Highly recommended! Perfect Harmony

I'd heard of Sharath Komarraju before, but from his short stories. I thought he had stopped writing. Good to rediscover these novels! Glad I took a chance on these!
