Product Description
From the bestselling author of the Hastinapur Series comes a beguiling tale of family, forgiveness and redemption.
When asked about the dreams that haunt him, Rishabh Dhar likes to say, 'What dreams?'
More than anything, he wants to deny. That he dreams of that dreadful day, that it shadows him, that he wishes he could go back and change things.
He wants to pretend - that it wasn't him, that he had nothing to do with it, that he had been forgiven.
He wants to move on - from Mitra Clinic, from his family, from his dead twin sister.
But when his mother goes out one July morning and gets a haircut that Shalini liked to wear, and when he comes to know that his sister has returned to hold their mother captive, he has no choice but to re-enter that dark cave.
Inside he must learn to engage with his family again. He must learn to love them. He must admit that he will need their help if they're to save his mother's life.
But it might not be as easy as gathering everyone around the dinner table. For before love can bloom, the past must be put to rest.
And the past might lead him back ... back ... back all the way to the womb.

Good
I've always been drawn to psychological thrillers that make you question reality, and "Amnion" in this bundle does exactly that. The way Sharath describes Rishabh Dhar's childhood home creates an atmosphere that's both nostalgic and eerily foreboding. What I found most captivating was how he portrays the complex relationships between Rishabh, his elder brother, his parents, and the shadow cast by the death of his twin sister - all beautifully rendered. Looking forward to exploring more of Sharath's work.
I found Sharath Komarraju's writing to be remarkably intricate. "Amnion" reminded me strongly of "The Exorcist," but with a fascinating twist that makes it distinctly Indian in its sensibilities. The complex relationship between Dr. Rishabh Dhar and his dead twin sister is portrayed with such depth. The 30 Day Money Back Guarantee convinced me to take a chance. I'm very happy I did!
"Nari" stands out as my favorite for its unrelenting and realistic portrayal of sexual abuse through the conflicting inner voices of two peopleāRamya and Nariāboth giving convincing testimonies. Lots of little nuances and details that make the story so rich. No wonder it was shortlisted for multiple awards. Being able to download these books instantly without waiting for delivery was particularly convenient during a time when I was searching for thought-provoking fiction. Highly recommended!
The three novels each offer their own unique journey into the human psyche, but 'Cut Me in Two' stands out for its particularly empathetic examination of fatherhood through the lens of a man trapped in his own mind. Excellent value for money for fans of psychological novels. Makes you question characters and motivations until the very end - sometimes well past the end!
