- The Crows of Agra

The year is 1650 A.D. Barely into his sixteenth year, Akbar is all set to ascend the Mughal throne. But there are forces at work in his family that want to keep him at bay. It is only after he meets the imitable Mahesh Das from Tikawanpur that Akbar learns how to safeguard his inheritance.

- The Tree Bears Witness

When Azgher Abbasi sees a murder take place between the two mango trees in the emperor's garden, he is convinced that a spectral force is behind it all. Birbal himself is stumped by the facts of the case - how might a man be killed by an invisible marauder? Or is the actual explanation simpler than it looks?

Glad I bought these

Great value for money. 58 proper-sized books at this price is a steal. Add to it that you have so much flexibility: you can read on any app or any device you want, and you can even convert these files into different file formats. Even the bonuses are so well put together. I'd not heard of Sharath Komarraju before, so I was hesitant about placing this order, but I am glad I did. You will be too! Beautiful Variety!

Excellent reads! I'm a long-time crime fiction reader, and I am impressed by the variety on offer in these four books. Even the two Birbal books are dissimilar enough from each other to keep the reader's interest. Murder in Amaravati is a slow-burn, Banquet on the Dead is urban and fast-paced, Crows of Agra is a historical, and Tree Bears Witness is an impossible murder. Something for everyone. What sets these guides apart is Sharath's contemplative approach to character analysis—he doesn't just explain relationships but illuminates motivations with remarkable precision. I particularly appreciate how he clearly distinguishes facts from personal interpretation, allowing readers to form their own conclusions. Very satisfied! Superb Ending!

Okay, I must admit - the ending elevated this book for me. I was going to give it a three or four star, but the final chapter made it a five. Definitely checking out more of Sharath Komarraju's books. Okay, I must admit - the ending elevated this book for me. The 52 books spanning over 6000 pages might seem intimidating, but Sharath's conversational writing style makes you feel good. The Mahabharata Character Guides Omnibus became my favorite section as it helped me understand the complex motivations behind each character's actions. Highly recommended! Worth Reading

Definitely worth reading. I generally don't like crime fiction all that much, but this one kept me reading through the day. Something about the Malgudi-like atmosphere that is present in Amaravati. I like Krishna Shastri, but identify more with Venkat Reddy. Lovely little story. Definitely worth reading. Add to it that you have so much flexibility: you can read on any app or any device you want, and you can even convert these files into different file formats. Even the bonuses are so well put together. I'd not heard of Sharath Komarraju before, so... Great value for money. 58 proper-sized books at this price is a steal.

Deep yet Accessible

Inspirational

The 52 books spanning over 6000 pages might seem intimidating, but Sharath's conversational writing style makes you feel good. The Mahabharata Character Guides Omnibus became my favorite section as it helped me understand the complex motivations behind each character's actions. Highly recommended! Perfect Harmony

I'd heard of Sharath Komarraju before, but from his short stories. I thought he had stopped writing. Good to rediscover these novels! Glad I took a chance on these!
