This will be a short blog post. Many of you will remember that a couple of weeks ago, we had a giveaway hosted on this blog for those of you who love mythology and fantasy fiction set in India.
Whenever I try something new on the blog, it is with much trepidation. I am a naturally pessimistic person (and like all pessimists I like to call myself a realist), so I was not expecting to see much traction on the post. I would be happy, I remember telling myself, if I got more entries than prizes. So I was hoping for seven entries. Anything more than that would be a bonus.
But the response flabbergasted me. Adding up the comments and the mailing list entries I got, the total number was seventy-four.
Out of these, I randomly selected seven lucky winners, and they are:
1. Balasubramanian Achary
4. Hiren Dhruva
6. Sasikanth Gudla
7. Peeyush Prakash
Note that I don’t know the last names of some of the people above, who entered through the mailing list. I’m just writing down the names with which they signed up. Congratulations, guys!
I’ve already written to them with the (hopefully) good news, and the books will soon be on their way.
Thank you once again, guys, for participating in the event. It was good fun to read all your comments and discussion. Contest 14 is soon going to be live on these pages, so stay tuned.
